In Alta Badia over 80 km of off-road tracks are the stage for your MTB tours across the Dolomites. From easy to challenging, the trails here offer something for every level. After an early breakfast from the buffet you can step onto your MTB and head off into the Dolomites!

One highlight for mountain bikers is the Sellaronda, a tour around Mt. Sella. In winter, the tour is possible on skis, in summer on two wheels. Also the legendary bike race Maratona dles Dolomites, attracting close to 10,000 participants, is staged at Mt. Sella. The starting positions for the race are extremely popular and sold out in record time.

If you are planning to embark on the Sellaronda bike tour on your own, you find the starting point in Corvara. During the tour you need to surpass four mountain passes: the Campolongo pass, the Pordoi pass, the Sella pass and the Gardena pass. If you are visiting the Dolomites by MTB, make sure to fit in this classic among the bike tours!

The bike tour to the Pralongià high plain is one of the most panoramic ones in the Dolomites. You start directly in front of our hotel in Alta Badia and drive on the artist trail “Trù di artisc!” from San Cassiano/St. Kassian to La Villa/Stern, always along the Gadera/Gader river. In La Villa you follow the forest road until you reach the high plain. Here we recommend to stop by the mountain restaurant Prolongià, offering spectacular views to the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage – the perfect place to take a break during your MTB tour in the Dolomites.
