The years of tourism success

Tourism in Alta Badia grew fast, also due to the foundation of the ski association Dolomiti Superski in the 1980s.

The hotel has been renovated over the years, particularly in the late 1990s, when daughter Paola and nephew Augusto took over the management of the hotel.

The fact that the Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009 has further increased the international awareness of the holiday region.

Mariangelo and Francesca can now be counted among the pioneers in the Alta Badia hotel business who, with their great ambition, contributed to make Alta Badia the loved destination which it is today. Also, their enthusiasm for the well-being of their guests, most of which was transmitted to us, will remain the basic for the future.
